Take the Parkway North to exit 148 (Bloomfield Ave/CR-506).
This will put you on John F. Kennedy Drive north.
In about half a mile you'll pass Bloomfield Ave. &
there will be a cut through on your left. Take the cut through and get
onto JFK Drive South. Make the next right onto Bloomfield
Avenue./CR-506.
Go about 3 miles through downtown Montclair and, at a
traffic light, turn right onto Pompton Avenue./Route 23.
Make 4th right on Nassau Road. This is the last block
before the traffic light at Linden Avenue. If you reach the traffic
light, you've gone too far.
At the end of Nassau Road make a right onto Crestmont Road.
Make a quick left into #22, Kip's Castle Park.
Take the long winding driveway up to the top. The castle
will be in front of you. The parking lot is to the left, behind the
carriage house.
From I-78
Take I-78 to the Garden State Parkway north.
Follow the "Garden State Parkway" directions above.
This will put you on (Mount) Prospect Avenue/CR-577 North.
The street is actually Mount Prospect Avenue but some of the signs only
say Prospect Avenue. After about two miles you'll cross Bloomfield
Avenue. (at a traffic light) and the road becomes Pompton Avenue/NJ-23.
Make 4th right onto Nassau Road. This is the last block
before the traffic light at Linden Avenue. If you reach the traffic
light, you've gone too far.
At the end of Nassau Road make a right onto Crestmont Road.
Make a quick left into #22, Kip's Castle Park.
