The Fairy Queen's Gift

The Fairy Queen hath bestowed

Upon the fairies in our abode

A special magic, so you can see

The fairies who live here peacefully

She took our wings, to our surprise

"No flying seen by human eyes"

In their place she did supply

Fake wings so we wouldn’t cry

Then she placed another spell

What it was, I have to tell

Our small size it does expand

 So you can see us in our land

The magic does not last all day

It starts at one and ‘til four will stay

And only on Faire days, by heaven
