The Trash Mavericks / Cowbell Superstar / R.I.P.S. / Vigilante Cowboys

The Trash Mavericks have played in the New Jersey/NYC area since 1986. They have over a 100 self-penned songs and when they play on those three-set nights, they can throw into the mix other songs ranging from Steve Earle to the New York Dolls. As stated on the back of their second release "Lucky 13", the band's music gets across their "heartfelt celebration to the true rock 'n' roll, blues and country music that we deeply love and respect and grew up with."

COWBELL SUPERSTAR is a new and exciting band carrying the torch of 70's glam with a fresh slant. There's a touch of good ole punk and metal sprinkled in there too.

The songs were written by me (Timm) before getting the band together. I wanted them to be played by fun people who were also great musicians.

We've worked up a set of catchy rockers that at times are darkly funny and don't go on long enough to be boring.

We all agreed the show was as important as the music-a stage spectacle was necessary. It's important to us that the audience go home smiling and feeling thoroughly entertained.

Bold yet melodic noises mixing elements of country, soul and punk.

RIPS formed in Philly after The Phobes broke up in DC. RIPS have released three albums on Beat Neat-O Records, 'New Century Living' (2009), 'X's For Eyes' (2016) and 'RIPS Do Kinks' (2016). RIPS are touring now at all the usual places.

The Vigilante Cowboys are comprised of veteran musicians with a gruelingly honest, starkly lovingly crafted raw sound. The Cowboys perform homegrown versions of punk, power pop, proto-metal at a killer mix and volume to define their sound. And like the cowboys of old, the mercenary talents of the band will shoot you from the hip. From NYC to the Jersey Shore the Cowboys have performed tight sets, and killer songs. Come have a beer with us, and hear some great tunes. You will be glad you did.

Kinderhook began in the early 1970's as an acoustic trio comprised of students who met at Rutgers University and quickly evolved into a six piece high energy country rock act. Seemingly overnight, the band went from playing for drinks and tips at a local college taco joint to sharing the stage with Poco before an enthusiastic crowd of 25,000 at the Schaeffer Music Festival in New York’s Central Park. By the mid '70’s, Kinderhook’s loyal following grew to such a point that they were able to pioneer country rock in major rock clubs such as the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. Excellent reviews from the New York Times, Variety, and Billboard helped catapult Kinderhook into one of the top drawing acts in the New York Metropolitan area. They played venues including The Palladium and the Other End in NYC, the Capitol Theater in NJ, The New England Folk Festival and colleges from Boston to Washington, DC. The list of acts they have appeared with reads like a who’s who of country rock, including Poco, the Dirt Band, the New Riders of the Purple Sage, and Commander Cody. Kinderhook briefly re-united for a charity event in 1999 and in 2010 was asked to once again open for the New Riders. The success of that show and the enthusiastic response to their appearance at the Stone Pony’s “Light of Day” show in 2011 helped cement the band’s decision to move forward in 2012. Today the lineup includes original members Jerry Kopychuk, guitar and banjo; Andy Fediw, bass guitar; Craig Barry, drums; and John Korba on keyboards and guitar. In 2011, they added longtime Cowtown member Jimmy Ryan on pedal steel and guitar. In 2013, they added Jim Messina’s violinist and guitarist Gary Oleyar. All the members are lead singers, giving the band it’s distinctive vocal presence. A Kinderhook show contains a unique blend of original music mixed in with their own takes on classic cover songs. Kinderhook is back, stronger than ever, infectiously enjoying themselves and drawing excited crowds to venues such as the Stone Pony, the Stanhope House, Roxy and Dukes and festivals throughout the Northeast. There is also a new CD in the making!
